We’ve built a lot of sheds at Stockman, but every now and then one really stands out. This is one of those, coming with all the hallmarks of a backyard workhorse. Solid build, smart layout and sublime finishes.

Things We Love About This Pittsworth Shed
Large Footprint
Space is everything in a shed. This one’s got plenty of it:

6x6 metre lean-to
The triple-bay layout means there’s room for vehicles, tools, gear and workspace without everything being crammed in together. This is a shed that actually lets you move around and get stuff done - perfect for storage and work.
Multiple Roller Doors
Five roller doors on a single shed? That’s enhanced functionality right there - and it's no accident.
The owner wanted maximum access, so we delivered. There are three roller doors at the front of the shed, plus one on the side and one on the rear. All made by Steel-Line, so you know the quality is second-to-none.
You can drive into the shed from the main road access, drive through it and out the other side into the backyard. That’s a great feature to have.
Lean-To Verandah
That 6-metre x 6-metre lean-to is a very well thought-out addition. What we love about this verandah is it has direct access to the side roller door. It gives a nice indoor-outdoor dynamic to the workspace. This owner stores his trailer there, which he can then access from inside the shed and drive out onto the main road. An outdoor covered verandah like this is great for storage, parking, or if you a place to have a BBQ with a couple of mates!
Gable Roof
The gable roof isn’t just for looks (though it does look tidy). It improves drainage, adds strength, and gives you more internal headroom. Plus, it complements the overall shape of the shed nicely. This one’s built to handle whatever weather comes through Pittsworth, and the roof is a big part of that.
Colorbond® Cladding and Roof
We used Colorbond® sheeting for both the cladding and the roof. It lasts, looks good, and performs well in the Aussie climate. Here’s the sublime colour scheme the owner went for:

BluesStone Steel Frame
Underneath the cladding and roof, you’ve got a proper steel frame. I’ts built from the toughest steel out there - Australian BlueScope Steel. It’s tough, it’s reliable, and it will holds everything together for decades. No cheap components or corner cutting - Stockman only uses the best shed building materials.
Solid Concrete Base
A solid shed needs a rock-solid base, which is why we don’t compromise on our concrete slabs. This one is thick enough to handle heavy loads and big vehicles, with neat edges and a level finish. Stockman always use high-pressure 32MPa concrete on our slabs. That’s the stuff they use in roads and bridges, so you know its gonna last!
PA Door (Made by Larnec)
It’s always handy to have a separate entry point. The personal access door we used is a quality model manufactured and supplied by Larnec, Australia’s leading PA Door brand. It opens and closes smoothly, sits flush with the shed wall, and gives you quick access without opening up the roller doors. Simple, secure, and smart.
