Large Terranorra Shed on the Gold Coast

Large Footprint

This large shed is 9 metres wide and 18 metres long, maximising the backyard space available. This gives the owner flexibility in what they’ll use it for. Parking vehicles, storing machinery, keeping the boat and caravan out of the sun - there’s room for all of that and more. The more space you have in a shed the more functional it is. You’re never going to not find a use for internal shed space, which is why we always recommend upsizing if you’ve got the yard for it.

Impressive Internal Height

If you don’t have the floor space in your backyard for a massive shed, you can always go upwards instead of outwards. Vertical space is more cost-effective than floor space, and can be a great solution to your storage space issues. More internal height is also beneficial for ventilation, helping give your shed a nice and breezy feel. This shed is 4-metres high at the lowest point of the skillion, and 4.18 metres high at the highest point. 

Skillion Roof

The skillion roof gives the shed its contemporary edge while serving a practical purpose. The single slope allows rainwater to run off quickly, ideal for Gold Coast downpours, and makes it easier to position whirly birds for maximum airflow.

Eight Whirly Birds for Ventilation

Not one, not two, not three…. But eight whirly birds have been installed into the roof structure of this shed! In the boiling hot Gold Coast summers, these are going to keep the air circulating nicely through the inside of the shed, helping keep it cool and comfortable. We want you to be able to be comfortable inside your Stockman at all times fo the year - with this addition, the owner is ensuring they are ready for summer.

Colorbond® Monument Roof and Cladding

How good does the exterior of this shed look? We use Colobond® for the roof and cladding on all our sheds - it looks the business and it is tough as nails. It won’t warp or fade, no matter what the weather throws its way. The owners went with the Monument® tone here, a popular choice whose strong and deep hue blends in nicely with most surroundings. 

Three Roller Doors

Having three Steel-Line roller doors, two of a similar size and one a bit smaller, gives flexible access for vehicles, tools, and equipment. It also helps demarcate the inside of the shed into specific zones. One could be a workshop space, one could be for parking the dirt bikes, and the third for household storage. The triple door setup allows for movement inside and out without having to do any rearranging. 

Two Sliding Glass Doors

The two sliding glass doors further add to the versatility of the shed. They let the natural light flood in and create that indoor-outdoor feeling we love on the Gold Coast. Glass sliding doors are a nice lifestyle touch for any shed.

Talking of letting the natural light, the addition of Bradnams windows helps keep the shed bright and well-ventilated. They’re durable and easy to maintain, while blending in with the overall look and feel of the shed.
