Double Storey Size

First up, the size. This is a double-storey shed, which effectively gives the owner two sheds in one when it comes to usable floor space. Doubling the internal footprint means double the potential. Storage, projects and vehicles all have their place, with room left over for whatever life and works throws at it.

Windows

We work closely with windows supplier Bradnams on each one of our shed. They provide quality windows and glass sliding doors, while also giving us great flexibility on the size, design and number of windows we install on each shed. On this Withcott shed, the owners wanted a light filled interior, which is exactly what we were able to provide them with. Multiple windows at varying heights and sizes floods the interior with natural light and gives the shed a bright and airy feel. 

Verandah Awning with Sliding Glass Door Access

This neat verandah with concrete slab underfoot and roof overhead sits out the front of the shed. It’s accessed via wide glass sliding doors, creating an indoor-outdoor feel which aligns nicely with the country surrounds. It’s an ideal spot for a weekend beer and barbeque, while also providing additional workspace for projects and hobbies. 

PA Doors

For everyday use, the shed is fitted with PA, or personal access, doors. They’re strong, practical, and save you from needing to lift the roller or glass doors every time you duck in for something. Perfect for managing foot traffic securely and efficiently. 

Gable Roof

Topping it off is a gable roof. This design gives the shed extra headroom, better airflow, and has excellent runoff when the rainy Toowoomba weather kicks in. The gable roof is a popular option on new shed builds, and it's easy to see why. They look great and score high on functionality points too. Plus, there’s plenty of real estate there to install solar panels down the track if desired! 

Built to Go the Distance

A shed of this size and scale has to be strong. We don’t cut corners, and this one is built with the same quality foundations as all Stockman projects.

BlueScope Frame

The structure rests on a BlueScope Steel frame, giving it the strength to stay solid for decades. It’s the kind of framework that doesn’t twist or buckle, no matter how much use the shed sees. BlueScope is an Australian company supplying Australian steel, so you know it's tried and tested in our harsh weather conditions. 

Colorbond® Cladding and Roof

For the exterior, we used Colorbond® steel on both the walls and roof. Proven to withstand summer sun, heavy rains or a cold snap in winter, this is a resilient cladding and roofing material that will last for decades to come. We can offer it to you in a choice of 21 sublime colours, so you’ll definitely find the one that fits your backyard or workspace. 

Rock Solid Concrete Slab

A shed is only as strong as its foundation, so we like to build powerful foundations here at Stockman Sheds. We use 32MPa concrete, much higher than the standard 25MPa most other shed companies use. Our slabs are the same pressure concrete as that found in bridges and roads.
