Five Door Cambooya Agricultural Shed
Five Steel-Line roller doors, all-Monument® Colorbond® and a solar-ready gable roof. See this Cambooya agricultural shed build by Stockman Sheds.
Cambooya is farming country, sitting on the agricultural plains south of Toowoomba. The farms on this part of the Darling Downs are serious working operations - the type of setups where a shed has to earn its keep every single day.
This Stockman build does exactly that. A 7.5 metre wide, 15.69 metre long agricultural shed in all-Monument® Colorbond®, with five Steel-Line roller doors, a Larnec PA door and a gable roof on which the owner has already installed a substantial solar array.
Built for purpose, designed to look good. Here’s what makes this Cambooya agricultural shed tick.
Cambooya Agricultural Shed Features

Every decision our shed designers made on this build reflects that this is a working shed in a farming environment.
Shed Dimensions

This is the footprint size we’re working with:
7.5m wide x 15.69m long x 3.5m high
Those are some proper size credentials. There’s floor space for multiple vehicles or machines, room to set up dedicated work zones and plenty of storage capacity along the walls. The 3.5-metre wall height can accommodate most agricultural machinery and gives the shed a genuine visual presence.
Five Steel-Line Roller Doors

Five roller doors define this shed build. There are four across the front wall, and one providing rear access. Each one is three metres long, built by Steel-Line in Colorbond Monument® to seamlessly match the rest of the shed.
With a working shed, access is functionality. It prevents bottlenecks and shuffling gear around. Entry and exit are a breeze. Steel-Line doors are built tough too - they will handle constant rural use for years to come.
Monument® Colorbond® Throughout

With 21 sublime colours to choose from, Colorbond® gives our customers the opportunity to land on the tone that really hits the right notes. On this property, the entire shed is finished in Monument® - the walls, roof, ridge, barges, gutters and all five roller doors. The wall cladding is vertical Trimdek, and the roof is corrugated iron, both in the same deep charcoal tone.
Bold, clean and unified - it’s a great look, and it won’t fade or corrode in the Toowoomba weather.
Gable Roof at 15° — Ready for Solar

The 15-degree gable pitch is clean and well-proportioned. It’s fit for purpose too, because the owner had signified his intent to use it for an array of solar panels, as you can see in the images. A gable roof at this pitch sits at a near-ideal angle for solar generation in South East Queensland. The large footprint of the shed means there’s ample space for a considerable solar setup. If you’re on a farm or off-grid and need the surface area and angle for solar panels, a shed like this one is a great option.
Heavy-Duty Column Base Plates

The column base plates on this build are bolted directly into the slab with heavy-duty galvanised fixings. This anchors the BlueScope steel frame firmly to the concrete. You want a reliable and tough shed if you’re a farmer, and by going large on our columns, brackets and fixings, that’s what Stockman Sheds supplies you with. There’s some serious structural integrity built into every shed we build, from the concrete slab to the frame and roof.
Bradnams Sliding Window with Fibreglass Barrier Screen

A sliding window with a fibreglass barrier screen sits on the side wall, bringing natural light into the interior and providing ventilation when the roller doors are closed. All our windows are supplied by Bradnams, Australia’s leading and best manufacturer. They give us flexibility in the number and size of the windows we include, but they never compromise on quality.
Larnec PA Door

A PA door is a handy feature that shed owners end up using more than they ever expected. Here, a Larnec PA door in Monument® gives foot access without touching the roller doors. No need to open the large roller door just because you forget a spanner - with the personal access door, you’re in and out fast.
BlueScope Steel Frame

The structural backbone is a BlueScope steel frame, engineered for Australian conditions and built to hold its shape without issue for decades. Bluescope is local steel that’s seen uptake on a global scale thanks to its strength and durability. There’s no other steel quite like it - if you’re not building a Bluescope shed, you’re accepting second best.
