That’s what we aimed for with this triple garage skillion shed - a big, useful shed that will serve the owners well for decades to come. Having just moved into their newly built home, the shed was an essential addition for storing their gear as they unpacked and settled. In the future, it’ll be the perfect secure storage spot for their caravan!

Shed Size
This build is a class 10 shed with the following dimensions:
11m wide x 12.68m long x 3.5m high
It also has a 3.5m x 3.5m open awning tacked onto the right side. There’s masses of space here - enough for securely parking three vehicles plus trailers indoors, without even touching the outdoor space. 3.5m of wall height is workable clearance for most machinery and vehicles, while enhancing the shed with vertical storage options.
Skillion Roof Design
This shed design incorporates a double skillion roof, two separate roof planes at 5 degrees each, where the main garage and the lower awning roof meet. This gives the join between garage and awning a clean break that looks good and is practical too. Both sections can do their job, drainage is good and you’re sorted for internal clearance.
Monument® and Night Sky® Colour Scheme
The owners opted for a bold and stylish colour scheme that ties in with the rest of their property. The walls and roof are in Monument®, while the barge capping, gutters, downpipes and all three roller doors are finished in Night Sky®. This colour scheme will age well.
COLORBOND® Roof and Cladding
Both the roof and walls are corrugated iron in 0.47 TCT COLORBOND® steel, a gauge chosen to handle weather and look good in a photo. COLORBOND® steel is an Australian product that is designed to meet the rigours of our outdoors head-on. It’ll resist corrosion, won’t sag and will hold its colour over the years. This shed will still be looking sharp many years from now.
Three Steel-Line Roller Doors
The largest door stands 3.6m high and 3.1m wide, sized for a fitted opening of 3.5m x 2.98m, tall enough for a tractor with a loader up or a caravan with roof-mounted solar. The two smaller doors run 3m x 3.1m, fitted to openings just under that. All three are Steel-Line, the brand that’s earned its place on Stockman builds through consistent performance in Queensland heat and humidity.
Larnec PA Door
A single Larnec PA door, 820mm wide and finished in Night Sky® to match the roller doors, sits on the side wall of the shed. These doors get used more than you’d imagine - they’re the easiest and fast option when you forget a tool or need to check on your vehicles. No need to open up the roller doors. We use Larnec for all our PA doors - they’re proven to hold up to repeated daily use, year after year.
3.5 m Awning
The right-side awning is a neat addition that seamlessly ties into the overall structure. Being 3.5m wide, there’s plenty of room to park a trailer or keep the dirt bikes out of the rain. HAving indoor and outdoor storage space really boosts the functionality of a shed.
BlueScope Steel Shed Build
