The wide open spaces are perfectly suited to a sprawling country shed - but not just any old shed. That’s exactly what Stockman Sheds delivered for these homeowners! We loved building this beauty of an acreage shed. The owners had some great ideas when it came to the shed design and aesthetics, which we were able to incorporate and bring to life for them. It was awesome watching it all come together, and we were especially stoked with how well the COLORBOND® colours matched the bush tones of the property.

Multiple Windows
Bradnams are the leading shed window supplier in the country, and there’s good reason. They supply a quality product that blows the competition out the water, which is why Stockman exclusively uses Bradnams for all our shed windows. It’s not just the quality, they give us flexibility in terms of size, quantity and type of window that allows us to fully customise what we offer our clients. These shed owners wanted multiple windows incorporated into their shed, which helps create beautifully lit internal spaces.
Dual Roller Doors
We went large on the roller doors on this shed and doubled up on them too, with one placed at the front of the shed and one at the rear. Rollers doors seriously enhance the functionality of a shed, making for easy entry and exiting of vehicles, trailers and machinery. Having tandem roller doors at the front and the rear of the shed goes a step further by allowing for traffic through-flow. Our roller door supplier is Steel-Line, a Brisbane company widely regarded as the best in the game. We can attest to that - their products have never let us down.
Stunning COLORBOND® Colours
We use COLORBOND® for all our shed cladding, because it’s the one product tried and tested in Australian local weather conditions. Proven to be tough as nails, COLORBOND® steel cladding looks good too. We can offer you a range of 21 colours to choose from, all inspired by the colours of the Australian outdoors. You’re bound to find the right colours to match your property and its existing structures. You can also mix and match different colours to different parts of your shed, as has been done on this shed. Here, the owners opted for ‘Basalt’ for the walls and roof, ‘Manor Red’ for the gutters and barges and ‘Classic Cream’ for the roller doors.
Personal Access Doors (PA Doors)
Designed to provide foot traffic with an easy means of coming and going from the shed, PA doors are a useful addition that negates the need to open big roller doors every time you want to get into your shed. On a bigger shed like this, the two personal access doors will prove invaluable, saving time and making day-to-day use of the shed a lot easier. All our PA doors are made by Larnec, a Victorian company that doesn’t compromise on quality. We’re big on supporting local Australian companies, because we firmly believe the quality is world-beating. Larnec are a prime example of that.
Classic Gable Roof
The classic and timeless look of a gable roof suit most Australian properties, and that’s certainly the case with this one. The owners opted for the excellent drainage and enhanced internal space that a gable roof would give them. They went with a 15-degree pitch on the two sides, which is a sought-after angle that’s conducive with most shed designs. The addition of four whirly-birds will enhance the internal ventilation and create a comfortable workspace.
Massive Shed Footprint
Big sheds with big heart and soul, that’s what we love building at Stockman. This one is all of the above, encompassing a massive footprint with soaring high ceilings. Take a look at these stats:
